All forms of power production and generation require some form of static pressurised equipment to either; harness, separate, heat, cool, distil, lubricate, compress and in many cases ultimately transport and store energy products for end users.​

 

Static Pressurized systems used in industrial settings (with some exceptions) are subject to statutory inspections under various local, national and international regulations. Common British and European regulations are the PED and PSSR regimes. ​
